Unable to upload file to mayan 4.8.2 - error: uncompress

I’ve recently upgraded Mayan to 4.8.2 on a standard docker installation.

When I try to manually upload files, i go through the 4 steps (Document type / Metadata / Tags / Cabinets) and instead of showing me the upload fields i just get the error:

{"error": "'uncompress'"}

The request goes to https://***my-mayan-domain***/sources/sources/any/documents/upload/?document_type_id=11&.... and gives back Stauts 500… I could not find any log entries on various locations…

Anyone an idea where to search or how to fix?

I have not been able to replicate this behavior.

I’m setting up a lab to recreate your same conditions.

  • From which version did upgrade?
  • What type of source is causing this issue (web form, staging folder, etc)?

Hi Roberto,

thank you for the quick response.

I’ve just managed to fix the problem by editing the source (web form) and just changing once the setting about uncompressing and setting it back. The installation is quite “old” and already had a lot of upgrades… The last one was from 4.6.

Cheers!

Thank you for the follow up!
