Possible to allow anonymous users?

Hi guys,

Is it possible to allow public users (anonymous users) to search for documents ? (View and download documents).

Any hint of how should I try this ?

I am trying to build an MVP project using Mayan using public documents, and it would be better if anonymous users where able to search and download documents.

I’m wondering the same thing. In some of the release notes (specifically this one: Version 4.2.14) I note this paragraph:

Attempting to exploit this weakness requires a privileged account and is
not possible to enable from a guest or an anonymous account. Visitors to
a Mayan EDMS installation cannot exploit this weakness.

That makes me think this capability might exist, but I can’t find it.

I’m looking for a system basically exactly like Mayan, but I need the ability to make certain documents public, and have some sort of index view for those documents.
