Moving a cabinet data to another cabinet

Hello,

I am a newbie to Mayan and working on an older version, 3.1.9.
Some documents were scanned into a cabinet that were supposed to be placed into a different cabinet. Is there a way to move this data to the correct cabinet?

Hi,

It is possible with a recent version. Go the incorrect cabinet, select the documents to be moved, from the “Bulk actions” menu select “Add to cabinet”.

Version 3.1.9 was release about 5 years ago and I’m not use this feature is available.

If that’s the case, then the document move will need to be done by writing a custom script or an API client.

Yes, upgrade in stages.

Upgrade 4.1 -> 4.6

I let myself get behind in upgrades- I always manage to find difficulties, so I just procrastinated. Anyway, I followed all the instructions (export/import database), and now I can’t get Mayan to start.
