Is it possible to display the document itself instead of the thumbnail when clicking on the ... document thumbnail?

Mayan’s current behavior doesn’t make much sense to me: if you click on the thumbnail of a document, you get … the thumbnail of that document, only bigger. This drives our users crazy.

Is it possible to change this behavior so that users would get the regular document viewer when they click on the thumbnail (same as when they click on the label)?

Many thanks in advance!

No possible at the moment but has been requested before. At first glance looks simple enough that can be implemented using a setting for the documents app. Added to the features request list as candidate for the next version.

Many thanks–here’s hoping the feature will make it into the next version!

So you admit you get what you want if you click on the label - what is the problem then? The preview is there if you want to just verify maybe something about a document, but don’t need all the contents. I think a lot more users are going to complain if this gets changed! You already have both options - use them wisely!!!
