How to sign a document using Digital Signature

Hello again,

Do I need to configure a workflow first to be able to sign a certain document?
If not, how can I proceed?

I was able to locate the digital signature function but can’t seem to make it work.

Can Mayan store a digital signature and use it in the future?
Or the user must sign every document?
