Are there any optional modules/extensions for Mayan?

In general, I would be interested in extensions / add-ons for Mayan.
In particular, I am looking for a module similar to the current “comments” functionality, but with some extra fields where users can comment, set a status, see the answers, etc.
Is there anything like that? Thanks for your answer.

Can you share the use case for this app?

Normally status is managed by the workflow engine.

An “answers” system can be coded with the workflow engine too.

Thanks for your answer.We manage so far to implement everything through workflows. Most likely, no further functionality will be required by our users.
