Initial setup of document type

Post by MetroMarv »

Hello guys and gals,

we're deploying our Mayan instance using Kubernetes and for each of our instances we need to add a specific document type including some custom metadata.

What is the preferred way to initialize document types?

Our first thought was to create a Kubernetes job which uses the ReST API to set this up. This comes with the drawback that it spins up another container which executes some HTTP requests.

In the docs I stumbled upon the section "Executing user scripts". Can we also utilize the user scripts for that purpose?

Mayan on Kubernetes is recommended for enterprise installations. Support for Mayan on Kubernetes is available via the Level 4 support services here => ... ons-level4
