Hi all
I'm new to Maya-EMDS and trying to use it as PLM system.
The flexibility really impressed me, as even our requirement is very strict, Mayan seems can meet in most of the case. It's awesome!
My Problem:
I have a question of the manually trigger of transition.
We create a workflow like below.
And we are expect to have different role receive email when state changed, and let them to review different state.
But I checked all the document I can find, list below, but can't find the answer.
Does the "manually trigger" means add a tag or meta date?
It would be so appreciated if anyone can help.
Document I have investigated:
1. Official document
https://docs.mayan-edms.com/chapters/wo ... transition
The official document says: "Besides being able to be executed manually by users, transitions can also be programmed execute automatically based on system events. "
I think there must be a way we can trigger the transition, but even searched the forum, I can't find it.
2. Forum search

It's a pity that pictures in this post are all invalid, or I could find more information from it.

Need Help! How to trigger workflow transition manually?
Re: Need Help! How to trigger workflow transition manually?
Hi,
In a document view, you have to use the "Workflow" option, then the "Transition" button. From there you select the transition you want to manually trigger.
If you do not see these options, it may be because the current user does not have the required permission, or because the document is not currently in the workflow (or the document type is not associated with the workflow).
