Auto Trash/Delete files of specific MIME Type

Post by MedZec »

The watched folder produces duplicate .pdf and .tiff files so when it scrapes the folder, it retrieves both. I do appreciate it deleting both files from the source but I end up with one unnecessary .tiff file for each .pdf
I have made an index by MIME-type that separates them but manually selecting only selects 40 at a time. This becomes quite monotonous after the first 1,000.
Is there a suggestion for auto deleting/sending to trash the duplicate .tiff files?

Anyone have idea? The watch folder contains a .tiff copy of the .pdf so I end up with doubles. I would like to delete the .tiff automatically and keep only one copy of the .pdf.
Suggestions?

When the workflow condition feature is added this will be possible to do in an automated way. For now it will need to be done manually using an index or a search by MIME type.
