Watch folder docker container

Post by jphermans » Thu Apr 11, 2019 5:48 am

I have installed the latest version in a docker container on a Synology NAS and everything seems to work very well. I want to create a watch folder but does not know how to do this.
I have found how to create a watch folder but I have a problem with rights on my nas. I have created a extra volume and this look so:
-v /volume1/docker/mayan-edms/upload:/mnt/upload
Document is transferred to mayan but in the upload folder the file isn't deleted after import.
Who can help me with this?

Make sure the Docker user (mayan) outside folder is owner or has delete permissions for the folder. The simplest way to solve this if you are the only user with access to the folder is to do a:

Code: Select all

chmod 777 /mnt/upload
An allow every user account to create or delete files. ... tside-data

Version 3.2 beta 1 includes supports to change UID and GUID for the Docker user to help fine tune this.
