Index list not displaying

Post by utopia » Sat Dec 08, 2018 5:59 am

Good day.
Thank you for the software.
We have been using Mayan (3.1.9) in an direct installation without problems. All of a sudden our index lists is not viewable any more (#/indexing/index/list/) only shows the label with no indexes. If one opens a document and access the index from there the index structure is still intact.
Any ideas?

Solved.
A electrical outage occurred without my knowledge. I believe it somehow corrupted the Postgresql database. A database restore corrected the error.
Thank You.

Oh dear... I thought Postgres was a little more resilient than that! ... I guess I need to make sure that the database is backed up regularly now then... something else to put on the to-do list!! :)
Running Mayan-EDMS on: OpenMediaVault, (Docker plugin), on x86 dual-core

I ended up with this same result after setting up an inappropriately designed index tree.
I had to disable that index, and then the rest of the indexes would appear.
I had to recreate the broken index, because just fixing the syntax didn't fix this issue.
Broken index deleted, replacement index and other indexes work fine.

So my thoughts are there may be very little syntax checking or error catching regarding poorly coded indexes, resulting in the broken display of any indexes.
