Mayan EDMS docker isntallation not available

Post by michael_claassen » Fri Nov 30, 2018 3:46 pm

Hi,

I deployed Mayan EDMS in my docker environment following this guide:

https://docs.mayan-edms.com/chapters/do ... er-install

Everything is up and running, I logon on the web interface and create users, document types, metatypes, etc.
About approx. 30 minutes the connection is going down, and the server isn' reachable anymore. Log files saying:

What's going on. Installed Mayan EDMS 3.1.9 with PostgreSQL 9.5, two containers, both are running but the mayan-edms seems to be
unresponsive due to this errors.

Kind regards,
Michael

The message you're receiving appears to be from Gunicorn which is the service which presents the web interface.

How much hardware resource do you have assigned?

Have you changed the timeout values?

Hi,

I've installed the docker images on my Synology NAS with docker enabled.
The ressources are managed automatically, but there seems to be no problems as CPU is at 0.45% and RAM is at 55MB.
There is enough space left upwards.

I've set the Environment Variable MAYAN_DATABASE_CONN_MAX_AGE to 60 if you meant this timeout value?

Everything else is configured as described in the official article, already mentioned.
At the moment the GUI is responsive though ?!?
Maybe there are some startup problems with the images?

Update: Ok as soon as I try to upload new documents I get the same errors again and the GUI isn't responsive any more.
So that seems to be a ressource problem maybe, but I cannot define a fix value for ressources in this docker environment, and as I already said there is enough space for aquiring more.

Looks like a gunicorn bug: https://github.com/benoitc/gunicorn/issues/1801
Or there is not enough memory available: https://github.com/benoitc/gunicorn/issues/1646
