Post by rosarior » Tue Aug 06, 2019 5:33 am

We've written a blog post explaining the additions and changes in the 3.2.x series.

It can be found here: https://www.mayan-edms.com/post/mayan-e ... -released/

@rosarior: Do you have a comparison matrix between the community and the professional edition?

If so, it would be greatly appreciated if you could point me to the right direction.

Cheers

Hi, the professional edition was been retired. More details here: https://www.mayan-edms.com/post/collaborations/

All the changes of the professional edition are being migrated to the community edition. Mayan will once again be a single edition product.
Some additions of the professional edition were: new UI/UX, new UI features (column sorting), extra apps (file metadata), storage improvements (encrypted storage). About 1/3 of the UI/UX improvements made it into the 3.2 version along with the file metadata app. Storage changes are scheduled for version 4.0.
