Restarting Mayan in GNU/Linux

Post by Sensiva »

Hello,
First of all.. Thank you so much for the awesome project of Mayan.

When I change Mayan settings in webGUI, sometimes I get a message saying I should restart Mayan and refresh the browser.
Currently I am just restarting supervisord service. Is this correct? or am I missing something? I tried to figure out the proper method to restart from Mayan documentation but I had no luck.

I am running Mayan under GNU/Linux Debian Buster

Thanks in advance

Hi,

That is correct. If you are using a direct installation (not using Docker), then the way to restart Mayan is via supervisord. If you are using Docker then use the Docker restart. For VMs and Kubernetes the commands are different, that is why the message doesn't specify how to restart the installation because that will be dependent on how it is being hosted.
