Solved: folder permission denied

Post by Schwabenheinz » Fri Nov 16, 2018 5:04 pm

Hello together
I am really happy, because I never used docker and mayan EDMS before, but I was able to install it on my Synology NAS :D
---
I tried to map my synology folder with all my scans to the docker and into mayan EDMS as watch folder.
After testing it I got following error:
###
Error processing source: [Errno 13] Permission denied: '/srv/watch_scans/SC_20181115_145553_000404.pdf'
###
I checked if the permissions on synology side are the same for all files and folders.
It is still the same:
- administrators and admin and my UserID have read and write rights.
- Everyone has read rights.

I tested it inside Mayan EDMS similar system/ configuration/ sources with the superuser

What should I do to release the content for mayan EDMS?

Thank you in advance
Heinz

I found a discussion inside this forum after posting:
viewtopic.php?f=9&t=41&p=129&hilit=dele ... after#p129
I will test to move the mapping of the watch folder to the suggested path: /var/lib/mayan/WatchFolder.
I will come back with the result.
