Is wiki down or defunct?

Post by mbronstein »

Hi, I am just starting to check out Mayan for use as the document app for a case management system. A couple of newbie questions to start:

1) Is the wiki just down or defunct?
2) Assuming I want to link documents to a customer model and a matter model, is this best done by adding custom metadata fields, making the cabinet the matter or customer, or is there a way subclass the document object to include foreign keys to other models?

Thanks in advance,

Mark Bronstein

Hello,

The wiki was retired due to lack of use. There is an issue to copy some material from it (https://gitlab.com/mayan-edms/mayan-edms/issues/693). We'll be copying anything from wiki that is not already in the documentation as topics here in the forum.

Perhaps update the documentation to remove the wiki links like inside the mayan application ...
system > about this
...section. I have been clicking a couple of times in the wiki link ;-)

The link was been removed. This changes will be included in the next bug fix release to happen soon. Thanks for the heads up!

Is this information still somewhere available?
We published some step for setting up HTTPS for Mayan with Apache: https://wiki.mayan-edms.com/index.php?t ... ith_Apache
I am having trouble installing mayan on my virtualhost apache2 webserver.
