Mayan EDMS - direct deployment (ubuntu) disaster recovery steps?

Post by solano1 » Tue Sep 17, 2019 4:28 pm

Hello,

I'm in the process of attempting a disaster recovery test for Mayan-EDMS to see how well it be able to be recovered from backups.

We are using direct deployment method on Ubuntu 18.04 LTS.

Does Mayan have any instructions for performing a rebuild/restore of the entire system assuming same version of Mayan will be used?

i.e. what directories to backup/restore, commands for mayan related database exports, etc.

Thanks

Hi,

for a complete backup dump the database and copy the mayan/media folder. For a leaner but still complete backup, dump the database and copy the mayan/media/document_storage folder only.
