Since it is possible to install mayan with pypi I wonder if it would be possible to install Mayan with conda environment?
Has anyone done anything in this regard?

We will take a look at Conda, but it is not certain we will support it.
Learning and supporting deployment strategies take away a big chunk of time away from development.
That is why we just support PyPI since it is required and Docker because it runs on many operating systems and platforms.
It looks interesting but unless there is demand for Conda support for Mayan installations, it is unlikely to be supported officially.
