It’s possible but not recommended.
Thanks but the link is referring to “ Intel Core 2 Duo or similar” and Raspberry for as I know, but I’m not an expert of cpu platforms, is using arm processor.
The recommended way to install Mayan is on docker. Docker is available for rpi4. Not sure how well it will perform though.
The requirements listed reflect that more powerful cpu’s are required.
I do think you’re overthinking it though. If the purpose is to just try it out and If he has the rpi4 already, try and install it and see how well it performs.
Just understand that it’s not a supported implementation that might not perform well.
@solo8788 you are right I’m overthinking it.
My friend accepted to buy a mini PC intel based and I installed Mayan-edms in docker environment. Everything is working fine.
On the other end using Raspberry the mayan-app-1 installation in docker gave error about the CPU architecture.
