Automatically rename PDF files according to individual rules

Hello everyone,
I hope I’m in the right forum.

Is it possible to instruct mayan to search for specific key names in a document and change the file name accordingly?

I am currently using the software “Gillmeister Automatic PDF Processor” - in this software I can specify where keywords appear in a certain document type, these are then extracted and the document is then renamed according to my specifications.

Can Mayan EDMS do something like that too? If so, can one of you post a sample instruction?

Thanks in advance.

The workflow solves this.

You can use the example in the tutorial Detecting and tagging documents that contain social security numbers in the OCR and change the workflow action from “tagging” to “document property edit” to change the document label.

You’re not allowed to view that.

What can i do?

That’s because it’s premium content. You need a subscription (and deservedly so) to access the KB.
