Re: whoosh search engine lock errors

I gave up to use woosh for the same reasons and switched to elasticsearch. It works much better for me performance-wise.

Re: Indexes loosing documents

The indexes remain stable as long as there is nothing happening on the server. Whenever documents are added, tagged, workflows transitions are made the indexes start to degrade. Sometimes complete index nodes, sometimes only some documents within the node.

Indexes loosing documents

I have a strange problem with some of my indexes like for example a simple one like this to show me which documents are not tagged: {% if document.tags.count == 0 %}Kein Tag vorhanden{% else %}Tag vorhanden{% endif %} When I reset and reindex via tools everything looks fine, all documents are proper...

Docker compose template: set rabbitmq hostname

May I suggest to set the hostname property for the rabbitmq container in the default docker-compose.yml? It took me a while to figure out why my queues are not restored at startup. I finally got it working just now  Without the hostname property the container will always use a randomly generat...

IndexInstanceNode.DoesNotExist again…

I’m currently on Mayan 4.2.10 and I have a bazillion of logs like the following when I add documents to my instance. There are some other discussions here with similar problems but I did not find a report for exactly this problem: app_1 | [2022-09-26 17:39:48,844: ERROR/ForkPoolWorker-4580] Task may...

Upgrade from 4.2.10 to 4.3.1 fails

Hi everyone, I just tried to upgrade my instance with docker-compose to the latest version but it fails with the following error: app_1 | mayan: performupgrade() rabbitmq_1 | 2022-09-10 19:16:17.808874+00:00 [info] <0.824.0> accepting AMQP connection <0.824.0> (192.168.208.9:55706 -> 192.168.208.8:5...

Re: [4.1] Mail Source: UnboundLocalError: local variable 'shared_uploaded_files' referenced before assignment

I can now confirm that mail sources (at least POP3) do not work at all in v.4.1.5. Mail is no longer fetched from the mailbox at all.

Re: [4.1] Mail Source: UnboundLocalError: local variable 'shared_uploaded_files' referenced before assignment

In version 4.1.5 the error message is no longer in the logs. Instead the logs are flooded with this message: app_1 | [2022-02-10 18:57:17,577: ERROR/ForkPoolWorker-63] Error processing source id: 18; __enter__ app_1 | Traceback (most recent call last): app_1 | File "/opt/mayan-edms/lib/python3....

HTTP 500 on tags/attach API call

Hi everyone, I just discovered that my previously working code to attach some tags to a documents now fails with a 500 response code. By looking in the logs I see that some error is raised when I try to attach the tag: app_1 | mayan.apps.logging.middleware.error_logging <508> [ERROR] "process_e...
