SHARED_STORAGE errors
HI I recently upgraded to Mayan 3.5.1 (running deployed on a server with Ubuntu 20., but now have an issue with uploading files. When I try to upload, the upload fails with the error message: Unable to initialize the shared uploaded file storage. Check the settings STORAGE_SHARED_STORAGE and STORAGE...

Upload errors with large files over VPN
Hi
I frequently have to access my instance of Mayan over a VPN connection. I have been experiencing problems uploading large files ( > 500Mb) by this methos...I think the issue is a timeout or similar issue (upload seems to get about half way)...is there a way to address this ?
Regards
Mark

Re: Mail issue
Hi again I am even more confused now! I set up a mailing profile (called 'email') and this is the default mailing profile. After creating the profile, I clicked the 'Test' button, and....it sent a test email! I then went to try sending a document link - system says that the action completed, but no ...

Mail issue
Hi I have just finished a new deployed install of Mayan on an Ubuntu 18.04 server. Everything works as it should, except sending mail (either password reset or file notification emails) just doesnt send anything. The server is using sendmail as the MTA, and this is working correctly (I have another ...

Re: Uploaded documents not visible
Mmmm....maybe this is a CentOS thing? I lashed up a microserver and installed Debian 10, then did a deployed install as per the instructions on the website - and everything seems to work! Admittedly, its slow, but the server isn't particularly powerful - also, I'm accessing Mayan on the server's loc...

Re: Uploaded documents not visible
Hi Thanks for your continuing assistance. Unfortunately, changing the permissions made no difference. Also, there is no error log either....nor a config.yaml file (although there is a config_backup.yaml file). This makes me wonder if there is an issue with the install...I need to have a think and ma...

Re: Uploaded documents not visible
Hi Yes, I am pressing the button at the right (thats when I get the document queued for upload message),; as I said previously, the document is being uploaded to the server, it just does not appear in the document list. Which log are you refererring to? If you mean the event log, there is no mention...

Re: Uploaded documents not visible
Hi Hope someone can help. I've just had Mayan installed on my server (my support guy opted for a manual install instead of using Docker). Now, I am probably missing something blindingly obvious, but any documents I upload never appearin the list at all. I have tried uploading as admin and a user, t...
