Error in performupgrade migration to 4.0rc1 (MySQL/MariaDB)

MySQL/MariaDB doesn't like double-quotes around identifier names (expects backticks or nothing)... Operations to perform: Apply all migrations: acls, actstream, admin, announcements, appearance, auth, authtoken, autoadmin, cabinets, checkouts, common, contenttypes, converter, django_celery_beat, dja...

Re: Problem in 3.5.6 performupgrade in file_caching migration

The actual error is this... Applying file_caching.0004_auto_20200309_0922... Problem in 3.5.6 performupgrade in file_caching migration [FIXED]

I ran into a problem after running "performupgrade" in 3.5.6 (pip install) on a 2.7.4 database. It looks like the migrations did not run for the user_management and web_links apps so the user_management_useroptions, web_links_weblink, and web_links_weblink_document_types tables were not created (alp...

Re: Document Content Empty

Re: Document Content Empty

Found an easy way to get more mimetypes to have the "Content" appear (as opposed to only PDF). If you have your own custom app added in, add the below code to your /opt/mayan-edms/mycustomapp/apps.py file: # adding this makes the "Content" appear for these mimetypes/formats from mayan.apps.document_...

Re: Custom view based on # of "documents.document_view" events per document

Easier than I thought...

Document.valid.filter(target_actions__verb='documents.document_view').annotate(views=Count('target_actions')).order_by('-views')

[SOLVED] Custom view based on # of "documents.document_view" events per document

If anyone has awesome Django-fu in this area, I'd appreciate it... As the topic says, I'd like to have a custom view that sorts descending by the number of times a document is viewed (I do have one currently that is based on a document metadata type which is updated when a document is viewed, but I'...
