Re: Custom filters and tags

I had the same problem - my custom templatetags were not being found.
I created a merge request for my solution:

Please upvote it if it helps you.

Re: gevent/greenlet conflict on 3.5.2 and 3.5.3 (pip install on debian 10.6)

Installing gevent==20.4.0 and greenlet==0.4.16 is probably the best solution.

Re: Preview/thumbnail generation error on some docs (3.5.3 pip install on debian 10.6)

It looks like the PyPDF2 package comes up with a page count of 2 on this document, but poppler/pdfinfo calculates it as 1 - maybe because the 2nd page is blank...

Preview/thumbnail generation error on some docs (3.5.3 pip install on debian 10.6) [SOLVED]

I am getting red X's on documents that have an empty last page. It will prohibit the thumbnail from being generated unless I view the document and then go back to the listing. This error shows up in the log: 2020-11-19 16:18:17,345 mayan.apps.logging.middleware.error_logging <14988> [ERROR] "process...

Re: MySQL Error 1235 on clicking Recently Added documents

gevent/greenlet conflict on 3.5.2 and 3.5.3 (pip install on debian 10.6) [SOLVED]

I started getting this error on 3.5.2 and it continues on 3.5.3: [2020-11-11 10:56:15 -0500] [4620] [INFO] Booting worker with pid: 4620 /opt/mayan-edms/lib/python3.7/importlib/_bootstrap.py:219: RuntimeWarning: greenlet.greenlet size changed, may indicate binary incompatibility. Re: MySQL Error 1235 on clicking Recently Added documents

Yes, if the query with the LIMIT clause (slice) can be forced into the subquery in a JOIN or FROM clause, then MySQL will allow it. But the question is how to get Django to do that without RawSQL...

Re: MySQL Error 1235 on clicking Recently Added documents

I made an attempt at creating an acceptable patch last week... but failed. In short, I think the Django ORM does not currently have the required feature, specifically, a way to have Django do a subquery that is a "derived table" (https://dev.mysql.com/doc/refman/8.0/en/derived-tables.html) in MySQL/...

Re: Custom Documents menu option (3.5.1/pip install)

Thanks for the reply!
On menu option ordering, I decided to let my options be at the bottom.
On my other question, I did figure out how to set up a signal handler for exactly what you described. Good to know that I did the "right" thing...
