Re: MAM (mayan-automatic-metadata)

I have tried this myself, and it works great!

I may write a HowTo at some point... time is a little limited at the moment though.

Thank you for taking the time to write this addon, it has massively simplified my scanning/uploading workflow.

[SOLVED] Re: Scanning as input

So... at long last I have come up with a temporary 'solution' to the scanning issue that I have had for some time. I would post it here, but it would be exactly the same as on the issues page that I have related to this post, you can find the issue here:

[SOLVED] Re: MAyan-EDMS with LetsEncrypt

... so... going through my old posts... just realised I never posted a solution to this... So now, running EDMS v3.4.15 I have got this working through a (slightly) different method, I can access through the reverse proxy through https://edms.[domain].com This is using purely LetsEncrypt, static IP ...

Re: Mayan EDMS index reference post

Hi Ralf, you might be able to use the "document.cabinets" function in conjunction with this code: {% if document.cabinets.count == 0 %} None {% else %} {% for cab in document.cabinets.all %} {{ cab.label }} {% endfor %} {% endif %} The above creates a nested cabinets kind of index, maybe i...

Re: Mayan EDMS book review

I concur that this is a VERY helpful, and much-needed reference book. Personally I find it helpful as a book to dip into for the parts that I need, and use the PDF readers "find" facility to dip into the sections and point me in the right direction. The thing that is still twisting my brai...

Re: Docker image for 3.2 appears broken

As much as I hate "me too"'s .... but me too... it does definitely appear to be broken.

Hopefully it will be fixed soon... in the meantime I my have to revert back to using the 3.1 tag for now.

Duplex scanning

Hi all, what scanners do people use with Mayan-EDMS? I am on my second scanner now, and I am still having issues with it. I made sure that it was a SANE compatible scanner, and purchased a Canon DR-2580C (uses canon_dr back end). It is detected correctly, and works to an extent, just that I cannot g...
