Re: 150k pages taking 2+ minutes to search

I recently stumbled across the same issue. Just using the main search on the front-page did not work out. I analysed the requests done. Using the advanced search, I had no issues doing full text search. I share with you what Postgres explain showed me. I picked the longest query FrontPage Search SEL...

Re: PostgreSQL Docker upgrades

Hi,

no it won't work, at least I know this from 11 to 12. Just switching the docker file will not work. You have to dump and restore.

Re: Automatic metadata?

Hi, Well I don't really like self promoting, but maybe this is what you are looking for. https://github.com/m42e/mayan-automatic-metadata It could help you creating automatic metadata and tags for your documents. You may give it a try, if you did not succeed or have questions, do not hesitate to pin...

Workflow error

Hi, I recently updated to 3.4.5 from 3.3.9 and when I try to change or add state actions, I get an error message in the browser, and in the docker log I see the following: mayan.apps.common.middleware.error_logging <312> [ERROR] "process_exception() line 17 Exception caught by request middleware; <W...

Automatically Move Scanned Documents to Watch Folder

Mod Note: The project below will automatically move documents from your scanners output folder to the Mayan Watch Folder you desire when those documents are ready for processing. It has not been tested by the Mayan team and is a third party project so please ensure any issues are logged directly wi...

Re: where to add code for auto assignment of metadata

So here's the code: https://github.com/m42e/mayan-automatic-metadata OCR is done by mayan. Actually this polls the api (in the example above it currently only processes the document with the id 1206). But you should be able to adapt it to listen on a callback triggered by a workflow from mayan. Mayb...

Re: where to add code for auto assignment of metadata

I wanted to do the same. The least intrusive way I found and had chosen was using the api. I add a tag to all the files processed to skip them, and process all the other files. The easiest would be to let it run on the same server, but it is not a must have. Works, but takes some time dependent on t...
