Version 4.0.13 solves this for all use cases: https://docs.mayan-edms.com/releases/4. ... anizations

Re: Handeling djvu files

Not at the moment. The original version of Mayan (before the official release in 2011) actually used DjVu as its main file format for doing image conversions. But the libraries were not stable and caused crashes. The support was removed quickly. We have an beta stage branch that adds DjVu once again...

Re: Newbie question: New source drivers pluggable?

This branch has been merged and is part of the series/4.1 branch which will become version 4.1 soon. Each app can define its own sources in the source_backends.py modules which is loaded at startup. The model was simplified. We removed the model inheritance and made it into a single flat Source mode...

Re: How to clear Mayan cache from CLI?

Not at the moment but it is a planned feature like we did for purging stale locks and stale permissions after an upgrade. Re: Mayan is powerful but has issues

Wow. That was harsh. I'm just a new user trying to convince management to use Mayan EDMS in my organization and not succeeding at it. But I have seen what happens to open source projects if taken over by business people since 2005. My take is that if succession happens Mayan will cease to exist, an...

Re: Mayan is powerful but has issues

$4.5M and the code becomes MIT, BSD or public domain, the copyright is granted to contributors or no one in the case of public domain, and I step down.

Is this an accurate summary of your funding proposal?

Re: upgrade process using docker-compose

Whoa. What does this mean for MySQL/MariaDB? PostgreSQL is the recommended database manager but we haven't dropped MySQL/MariaDB. The recommendation is based on the rate of issues reported with MySQL being higher due to some features of Django that Mayan uses (specific sub queries features, schema ...
