60+ million documents in Mayan?

Hi everyone, We currently have a Mayan implementation with over 3million documents. (1 - 2 pages each.) We are planning a project where we will be hosting an excess of 60 million documents. There are concerns about having all those documents in one individual directory. Does anyone have any suggesti...

Resizing PDFs within Mayan?

Hello all, I have a Mayan (3.1.9) implementation with around 1 million documents. Space limitations will be a bigger issue than I initially anticipated, we expect in excess of 5mil images at the end of the project. At the moment I am exporting printable PDFs from another system into Mayan, but that ...

CentOS implementation REDIS issue.

Hi! I recently deployed a Mayan at a client following the direct deployment guide. It is installed on CentOS 7. (I have Mayan running flawlessly on centos on a local dev machine already.) However, all my celery workers end up with the following redis error: [2018-11-27 11:03:53,696: ERROR/MainProces...

Re: Sub-app API URLs?

You should see one inside your mayan django application. Have a look under site-packages in your virtual env, mayan should be there. Thanks for that... I will take a look and report back... not sure if the folder structure would be the same in a docker image... will let you know. Thanks again Kevin...

Re: Sub-app API URLs?

I am going to try and install Analyzer in my Mayan, but I am a little confused as to where to even put apps! lol I know it says in the MayanRoot/apps but is that the config root, or under /opt/mayan-edms (inside the container?) ... but I don't see an apps folder under /opt/mayan-edms, nor do I see ...

Re: Mayan on Centos 7.

Thanks for the feedback! Yes, the runserver command is only for testing and should not be used for production. It also disables background tasks and periodic tasks. All processing will happen in a synchronous manner and will not scale. Can you share the steps you used to install in CentOS? Or post ...

Sub-app API URLs?

Hi! I am trying to integrate a one of my own django apps into Mayan. The app structure is as follows: main_app ------- app1 ------- app2 ------- app3 In the apps.py of the 3 applications I have MayanAppConfig's defined. The challenge however, is that these apps are referenced with main_app.app1, mai...

Re: Mayan on Centos 7.

I got it working! Whoop whoop.

I was struggling to get the "runserver" command working, which it seems is NOT the way to run Mayan.

I followed the guide more cautiously and now supervisor is doing all the work!

+1 Mayan works perfectly with CentOS/RedHat.
